The True Purpose of Life

The True Purpose of Life

If you seek to understand the true purpose of your life, then delving into this story will provide clarity.

Enlightenment Lord Shri Krishna

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Krishna who lived in a lovely village called Vrindavan. He was known for being playful and for loving animals and trees a lot.

Krishna loved Radha very much. He wanted to marry her, but his mother was worried because Radha was older and already promised to someone else. But Krishna didn't care about those things. He believed in their love and wanted to be with Radha no matter what.

Even when his mother tried to change his mind, he stayed firm. So, his father , Nanda asked their wise guru (teacher), Garg Acharya, for help.  They told Krishna that his job in life was to help people and make the world a better place.

But Krishna didn't want to be a hero. He just wanted to be with people and nature. He felt happiest when he was with them, sharing their happy and sad times.

Then, Garg Acharya felt it was time to share the truth about Krishna's birth and destiny. With gentle words, he spoke of the prophecy foretold by Narada Muni. Krishna listened intently as Garg Acharya revealed the shocking news for the 1st time that he was not the son of Nanda and Yashoda, as he had believed.

With love and reverence, Garg Acharya explained how Narada had identified Krishna as the chosen one. Every sign, every quality, everything pointed to Krishna fulfilling the prophecy. It was as if the stars had aligned perfectly, confirming Krishna's divine purpose.

Krishna's divine purpose.

As Krishna heard all this, he felt amazed and excited. Could it really be true? Was he the one chosen to make the prophecy come true? With a humble heart, Krishna accepted his destiny, knowing that he had a special purpose in life, even though it was bigger than he ever thought.

the prophecy

Feeling the weight of his destiny, Krishna went to Mount Govardhan, feeling like a magnet pulling him. Standing on the hill, under the warm sunset, he looked up at the sky.

Suddenly, a strong feeling of strength surrounded him, like a warm hug. Krishna closed his eyes and thought deeply about his life and what he was meant to do.

He thought deeply about his life

As he stood there, he felt different. Even though he looked the same, he felt like he had a clear idea of what he needed to do.

With every step, he walked with more grace, making everyone stare in amazement. It seemed like he found something special, like magic, that made him feel connected to everything around him.

As he walked down the mountain, the people who used to play with him now bowed down to him, feeling something different about him. Even though Krishna didn't say or do anything big, just being there made everyone feel humble and respectful.

Blessings of Lord Shri Krishna

Deep down, Krishna knew it was time to leave Vrindavan. Even though he loved the villagers and had fun with them, he felt sad. With a big sigh, he knew he had to go on the journey waiting for him beyond the hills of Vrindavan.

As Krishna was getting ready to go on his special journey, he felt a wave of happy memories. Even though the fun Rasa festival was finished, he really wanted to have one more dance with his dear friends.

He gathered everyone under the moon's gentle light, feeling so much love and thankfulness in his heart. With a sparkle in his eye and a grin on his face, he started to sing and dance, moving gracefully through the crowd.

His songs filled the air and his dance made everyone feel happy. It was like magic! Everyone felt so connected and joyful, like time had stopped just for them.

With each step, Krishna's dance felt like a special prayer, celebrating how beautiful life is and how we're all connected forever. And when the night ended, his last dance left a big mark on everyone's hearts, reminding them of the amazing love that never goes away.

The story of Krishna's journey highlights the profound truth that life's purpose often unfolds in mysterious ways. Sometimes in life, we may have to sacrifice our personal desires for a greater purpose. Despite Krishna's love for Radha and his simple joys in Vrindavan, he embraced his divine destiny to help others and make the world a better place. His journey teaches us that by accepting our unique roles and responsibilities, even if they require sacrifice, we can fulfill our true purpose and spread love and joy to those around us.

What's sorrow?

Well, imagine when the Sun gets really hot, and the Earth feels like it's breaking under the heat. That's sorrow - the breaking. But you know what's amazing? From that breaking, a whole new world is born! It's like when a seed breaks and falls into the ground - it may break, but it gives life to a beautiful new tree. Or when a raindrop breaks from a cloud and falls to the ground - it helps crops grow, bringing happiness to everyone. And think about a baby growing inside its mother for nine months - it's such a special connection. When it's born, it breaks away from the mother, which can be sad. But you know what? It's also the start of a brand new life, full of possibilities and joy!

When you face repeated challenges and obstacles, you have the potential to transform into a masterpiece for yourself and for the world. For instance, when Lord Shiva was devastated by the suicide of his wife Sati due to insults from her father, he expressed his grief through a destructive dance. However, from this destruction emerged a beautiful dance form, and he became known as Nataraj. This divine dance inspired the creation of many more dance forms such as Kathakali, Nataraj, Bharat Natyam, and others.

So, maybe sorrow isn't just about sadness after all. It's about finding new beginnings and creating something beautiful out of it.
